WoW MoP Classic: 11 Farming Circuits That Require Minimal Competition

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a returning player excited to experience Mists of Pandaria all over again, you’ll find that farming materials remains one of the most reliable ways to fuel your crafting, fill your pockets, or even save up to buy WoW MoP Classic Gold. The only problem? Popular spots are often crowded, driving prices down and frustration up. That’s why I’ve put together this list of 11 farming circuits that consistently have low competition while still offering great yields.

Below are my personal picks, gathered from hours of testing across multiple servers. Each spot is easy to access and doesn’t require an overgeared character.

  1. Townlong Steppes — Kyparite Seam RunsNear the southern edge of the zone, you’ll find clusters of Kyparite nodes along cliff faces. Few players venture here because the route feels remote, but the respawn timer is decent, and you can circle back every 20 minutes for another full loop.

  2. Valley of the Four Winds — Greenstone OutcropsThese outcrops blend into the environment, which means many farmers skip them entirely. Combine ore nodes here with occasional Ghost Iron Deposits for a steady stream of resources with minimal interference.

  3. Krasarang Wilds — Ancient Guo-Lai Cache HuntersAlong the cliffs north of the Incursion, you’ll see Ancient Guo-Lai Caches spawning. They contain motes, rare cloth, and occasional BoE items. Because many players overlook this area, you can often gather undisturbed.

  4. Kun-Lai Summit — Snow Lily RoutesThe snowy plateaus to the west of One Keg have an abundance of Snow Lily. Most players head straight to the Shado-Pan Monastery area, leaving this circuit wide open.

  5. Dread Wastes — Amber Tap CollectingSouth of Klaxxi’vess, pools of Amber Tap accumulate near fallen mantid structures. Alchemists will especially appreciate these nodes, and the sparse traffic means you can take your time gathering.

  6. Jade Forest — Tigers and Herbs LoopIf you’re leveling skinning, this route along the western cliffs offers both Tiger mobs and abundant herbs like Green Tea Leaf. It’s a relaxing circuit with little competition.

  7. Townlong Steppes — Gilded Moths and Rare HerbsEast of the Niuzao Temple, Gilded Moths spawn in small groups near rare herb nodes. The mobs drop Moth Dust and have a chance to yield rare crafting materials.

  8. Dread Wastes — Kypax Reef MiningThis underwater reef southwest of Soggy’s Gamble hides several rich Ghost Iron Deposits. Because it requires some swimming, many farmers skip it, leaving it open for solo players.

  9. Kun-Lai Summit — Yeti CavesInside the caves near Kota Basecamp, Yetis drop fur and vendor trash, and respawn quickly. You won’t get rich instantly, but the steady income can be used to buy WoW MoP Classic Gold if you prefer trading over farming.

  10. Krasarang Wilds — Sha-Touched PoolsHidden among the mangroves, these pools yield herbs and fish. You’ll rarely encounter more than one or two other players in an hour.

  11. Vale of Eternal Blossoms — Lesser-Known Excavation SitesWhile everyone rushes to the main ruins, the smaller dig sites on the periphery often go untouched. These can produce crates with valuable materials you can sell or trade for cheap wow mop classic gold later.

Tips for Efficient Farming:

  • Always carry Gatherer or another tracking addon.

  • Time your farming during off-peak hours.

  • Use a mount with gathering bonuses when possible.

  • Rotate between circuits to avoid overfarming one spot.

These less-contested routes will help you farm peacefully, stockpile materials, and steadily build your gold reserves. Whether you plan to craft, trade, or just save up for something big, these circuits make it much easier to stay ahead without the usual competition.
